Grampa Spaulding

On Tuesday night Grampa Spaulding passed away after his liver & kidneys shut down. He went in to the hospital Sunday and his condition decreased very rapidly and his body eventually gave up after 2 days there. Thankfully the doctors took great care of him and he felt little discomfort before passing on. The picture below was taken at Jays wedding back in September. We are so grateful that Dayton had the opportunity to get to see and know a little a bit his Great Grampa Spaulding, and for the memories this picture gives us. We are all going to miss him dearly but take great comfort in knowing that we will get to see him again one day and that he is now in a better place.

Weekend Away

Went down to Provo this past weekend. Dayton was so excited he couldn't sleep the night before. Kristen D. & I went out Friday night, and Deck & Kyle went golfing Saturday afternoon. We were able to see and hang out with Brady and Jenny. Kristen D. and I even ventured out to the mall with all six kids. It was an adventure. Dayton loves it there because he plays with Camden, Kenzi and Gracie. Camrie and Emery also hung out, but were not as exciting. Next time we will try to get them in action.

We all had a great time but Dayton was in heaven!

Saturday was a beautiful sunny day and whenever they could, the kids were outside playing. They have lots of options with the slide, swings and sand all right there together.


Dayton loves to jump on the trampoline with other kids, but he will jump alone if he has to!
