School Is Back

This summer went by so fast. I was not ready for the kids to go back to school, but luckily they were.

Back to school night where we met the girls teachers.

First day of 8th grade for Dayton, starting the year at 5'4.
Camrie is in Mrs. Lungreens 5th grade class and is just under 4'9.
Taryn started 2nd grade and is in Mrs. Roskelleys class. She is 4'2.
Jaren had to wait two weeks to start pre-school but it was well worth it. He is in Ms. Jamie's class Tuesdays and Thursdays for 3 hours and loves every minute of it.
Starting his first day just above 3'7.

Goodbye For Now

We fit as much as we could into the last few days of our visit to New York. It was fun to be there for Grandpa Bill and Uncle Jared's birthdays, one more pool party, trip to the ice cream shop, round of golf, game of Acquire, s'mores, games, lots of hugs and a few tears.
Grandma Jody made a garden for Chase.
All packed up and ready to go...as soon as grandma Jody gets out of the way. We had so much fun and it was so hard to say good-bye, so we hope to go back again soon.
It was a long drive home. We did not stop much except to eat and sleep. The kids did great to entertain themselves and we did our best to find some parks to get some of the wiggles out.
