Memorial Day

Spent the afternoon in Logan on Monday with some of the Decker family.  Had a BBQ, lots of games, and all around a good time.

Playing some kickball.

Ball Player

Dayton's Baseball season started once again.  He has already played a few games and loves that his Dad is the coach because he gets to hit first in every game.  He has hit the ball well every time and even had a double last night.

Lost Tooth

Last Thursday night Dayton got a visit from the Tooth Fairy.  While at the Zoo on a field-trip, some time after lunch, he lost his very first tooth.   It seemed to take forever and Dayton felt as if he was the last one ever to loose a tooth, but it finally happened.
He put the tooth under his pillow as soon as he got home from school, and was mad when I made him go get it to take pictures.
That night Kyle asked him what he wanted from the tooth fairy and he said $20.   Luckily he was not too disappointed when he only found $2 there the next morning.   It looks like he is going to keep the tooth fairy busy now that he has started, he already has another tooth loose.   And poor  Camrie is checking hers all the time too to see if she has any loose.
We asked him if he saw the Tooth Fairy, and he said that he caught a peek at him.  He is a little tiny fairy that sprinkled dust on his nose to make him fall asleep and forget everything.  What an imagination.

Spring Break

Spring break was actually before Easter, but I am just getting around to posting the pictures.  I had a goal of taking the kids somewhere every day to make the week fun and we did pretty good.  One day we went to the park with about 15 other kids, another day we went to Arctic Circle for ice cream, and on the coldest day we went to the church to play in the gym.
But our two best days were spent at Kangaroo Zoo, and Chuck-e-Cheese.

Here we are at Kangaroo Zoo.   The kids had so much fun because this time we got to go with friends.

I was surprised, but Taryn did not really like it. It made her very nervous.

One day Kyle took the day off and we took the kids out to eat and then to chuck-e-cheese and then out to get more ice cream.  They were in heaven.

This was by far the most tickets they have ever gotten.  Dayton was a nice brother and shared with Camrie so they both got lots of little prizes.
