Camrie Turned 3

Camrie turned 3 last week on the 1oth. It is hard to know what to do for a 3 year old, so we pretty much let her do and eat anything she wanted. All day long we called her the "birthday girl", and she got mad and would say, "No, I'm Camrie." Then every time someone said Happy Birthday, she said, Happy Birthday right back to them. But all in all we think she had a pretty good day.

We started the night off at Chuck E Cheese for some rides and games. Camrie choose the rides while Dayton chose the games.

This was a little pony ride that was one of her favorites.
This seemed to be Dayton and Daddy's favorite.

Camrie is asking for more money. Kyle pushed the gas pedal for Dayton.
A serious game of bowling.

After CEC we went to dinner. We were trying to think of where Camrie would like to eat and Kyle asked what she likes. I answered, mac & cheese, pudding, ice cream, chips, rice, fries, noodles, mash potato's... So we went to an all you can eat place and let Camrie pick out anything she wanted, ending with 2 bowls of chocolate ice cream with gummy bears.

Then came the presents.

So exciting, Dayton hid the gifts and Camrie had to find them.

She got more toys and this is a new play princess dress.

Playing with some of the new toys, this is a new stroller for her new baby doll.
Time for cake.

We were all so full that we did not eat the cake till the next day, and it was yummy.

Snow Snow Snow

We finally got some snow a few days after Christmas and were able to use Dayton's new sled he got from Santa. With uncle Jared we headed up the mountains and found our spot. I stayed in the car to take pictures and even that was too cold for me, the others braved the 6 degree weather for some fun.

A view of our sledding hill.

Kyle and the kids making there way back up. I like Camrie's way the best.

Dayton after one of his rides down. He went up and down 8 or 10 times until the last time he wiped out and then he was done.

Here is Camrie after going down a few times, and the last time falling in the snow... that did her in and she spent the rest of the time in the car with mom.

Christmas Vacation

Just after opening presents we packed up and headed down to my brothers house for a few days. It was especially fun for me because my parents were there, as well as 6 of my 7 siblings and 15 grand kids. It was fun and really crazy and would have been even better if the flu had not come too.

Here are 4 of the 5 girls all born within just a few weeks of each other, in their new dresses from Papa and Nana. McKell, Emery, Tayla, and Camrie.

One of our days there we went to an animal museum.

All the kids.

Watching a movie with Papa about Bee's.
Papa and Nana brought a pinata and the kids loved it. Camrie is up to bat...

Dayton's turn...

Candy. Just what they all needed, more sweets, but it was so much fun.

Then we move on to the gingerbread houses...
Camrie hard at work. She kept eating her candy so I had to find her more so she would have some for her house.

Dayton took his time making sure it was perfect.

All done.

Some of the other candy house makers, Kenzi, McKell and in back, Marae.

Kaden and Camden testing to make sure their houses taste good.

Christmas Time

Christmas started a little early this year when our biggest gift came in early December. Kyle's brother, Jared, came to visit for Kyle's birthday and the holidays. We had tons of fun with the kids getting ready for Santa and the season. Dayton learned some new songs like Jingle Bells and kept us on our toes with a day by day count down till Christmas. Camrie was not really sure what was going on but loved it all especially the lights on the house.

The first morning Jared was here this is what I found when woke up. I thought it would wear off, but I found out that almost every morning, for the three weeks he was here, they went to his room to get him to come down and play.

We went to see the lights at the Temple and though it was packed, it was beautiful.

Christmas morning just before the kids came running down the stairs. Dayton woke everybody up at about 7:30.

Santa brought Camrie a scooter. She was so excited about it we had to take it away so she would open her other gifts.

Dayton's much wanted favorite gift, his Nintendo DS.
Camrie opened most her gifts while sitting on her scooter.

Dayton opened all his gifts as fast as he could so he could play his DS.
