Slam Dunk

This Valentines, Kyle and I got all dressed up and re-arranged the furniture for our night in with the kids. It was the annual NBA All-Star weekend and we like to participate. So we all dressed in our orange and set up for the competitions. Dayton has already shown his competitive side and was pumped all day for the games to start. He got all his basketballs out, Kyle brought out the hoop, and it was game time.

This is Dayton's running shot. He would run from the wall to the hoop trying to dunk it.
(You can't tell but his feet are off the floor)

Camrie and I watched from the sidelines

Camrie was our cheerleader

Dayton's other favorite shot was to jump off the couch and dunk it. He spent quite a bit of time working on this shot and became quite the pro.

And last but not least here are our 2 contestants taking part in the obstacle course.

Best Buddies

The kids have been so cute lately just playing together. So finally I caught them in the act. I use our tub as a place to hold Camrie while I shower because she can not get out. I was drying my hair, look over and found Dayton in there with her.
He was attempting to play cars with her, even though she would mostly just throw them around. He just made that part of the game. It was so cute, they were both screaming and laughing just having the best time.

Then the next morning Camrie woke up and before I could go get her Dayton asked is he could go in there. I told him he could and that I would be right there. A few minutes later I walk in and find them both playing in her crib.
Laughing and playing around with what I don't know because there were no toys in there, but they were having a good time anyway.

Cafe Sabor

Had a girls night out last week for my friend Angela's birthday and we had so much fun. We kidnapped her and took her to her favorite Mexican restaurant that is in Logan, (which is an hour away), but it was worth it. We ate so much chips and salsa that we did not even need to order food, but that was really good too. I was sick from eating so much that I could hardly finish my plate, but then they brought out some fried ice cream for the birthday girl with some loud clapping and singing and a huge sombrero hat that she had to wear. It was the perfect ending to our night.

Here is one of the baskets of the chips and some salsa. It was so good, and so was the guacamole but that was gone so just imagine it.

I have never had Fried Ice Cream before so I had to try it and it was delicious. It was a big ball of vanilla ice cream rolled in cinnamon and sugar, then fried so it had a little crisp, & then covered in carmel and drizzled with hot fudge. YUM. I was so full from dinner, but some how I was able to find room for desert.

Camrie's Moving

Sorry, this is a few weeks old, but never the less here it is. Camrie started walking about three weeks ago. One night she started taking a few steps like always but instead of then falling she just kept going. She is not walking 100%, but she is pretty close. She walks till she falls and then crawls the rest of the way. And though she is not a speed walker she does walk all over the house. She has even learned to balance herself so she can stop and pick something up, usually food, and then start walking again. We are pretty excited and though I can't remember off the top of my head when Dayton started walking I know she has him by a few months. We love to watch her little legs move and she walks more every day. The only thing she does not seem strong enough for is staying up after being pushed by her brother, but give her a few more weeks.

She has also mastered going up the stairs. She can not yet get back down, no matter how many times I try to teach her, so she climbs all the way to the top and sits there till I find her then starts clapping. After I start going up to get her she tries to run away from me laughing the whole time. This happens 4 to 5 times a day. I just hope she learns to crawl back down before she falls down all 13 steps onto our hardwood floor.
