Decker Reunion

Just a few days after we got back from New York we re-packed and headed to Bear Lake, Id. for my family reunion. We spent the weekend at the lake and then the next couple of weeks with family. It was so fun to see cousins, brothers, sisters and my parents.

Good thing we went to the lake this day because all the other days turned out to be cold and rainy. But that did not stop us from having a good time.

One night for dinner we cooked it over the fire. It was up in the mountains and a little cold but so much fun. We also roasted marshmallows and starburst.

Road Trip

We just got back from Driving to New York. We packed the car, the kids and headed out July 16th and just got back August 2nd. Things did not start out great as we hit traffic early and the kids were going crazy after just about an hour and we had 3 ten hour days ahead of us. But things settled, we put in a movie and kept on driving. We all had such a great time, it felt so good to be back and be with family and friends.

This is what Dayton looked like for 3 days as we drove out and back. He watched movie after movie and it was wonderful.

Camrie was not so easy. We kept her busy with anything we could find. At this moment it is a sheet of stickers.

There was only on time that we could not get her to stop screaming and we could not take it anymore so we turned up the radio as loud as we could and let her scream to the song.

This is what Kyle looked like for all but 3 hours on the way to NY, and all but 2 hours all the way back to Utah.

This is what happens when mom is desperate, and she was thrilled and enjoyed every bit of that Oreo.

We all got some new shades at one of out stops. Here are the kids showing off theirs

We made a little stop in Kirtland, Ohio to see some church history. It was amazing to be there and walk around the little town.

The kids are sitting on the temple steps. We were sad we did not get to go in, we missed the tour, but maybe next time. Here is a better picture of the temple.

We were lucky enough to get to NY in time for Great Grandma Cameron's 95th birthday party.

We are not sure why Dayton felt this was a good time to be a power ranger, but that is what he is doing.

The party was on a lake and it was beautiful and would have been so fun to go swimming, but it was a little too cool. So Grandma Jody was nice enough to take Dayton to put his feet in.

As we were cleaning up after dinner the kids found a pool to play in and helped them selves fully clothed. Unfortunately I did not have extra clothes, but thank goodness I had an extra diaper.

ENCHANTED FOREST

We all took a train ride round the park to see all the rides we wanted to go on.

Camrie rode the horse while the boys went on the bumper cars. I was not sure if she liked it or not, but when it was over I could not get her off the horse.

Water Rides

The kids (big and little) loved the water park. Kyle, Marcus, Logan, Darrick, and Luke (cousins and friends) all had fun going down the water slides while the kids stuck to the kiddie pools.

One last game before we left the park. Dayton was so focused he would not look at me.

SMORES

Went up to Kyle's Uncle Jim's house one night to roast some marshmallows and hang out.
