Field Trip
Dayton's class went on a field trip last week to a gym to learn how to eat healthy and exercise. Camrie and I were allowed to tag along and the kids loved it. There was music, running around, and hanging out with friends.

Camrie Turned 2
Our baby girl turned two this past Sunday on the 10th, and though it was a little hard for me she has been saying it for months, so I guess I should have been ready. She is such a joy to our family with a burst of energy and a spicy attitude. She knows what she wants and usually gets it. She is a great communicator with her different level's of screams, though she seems to learn new words every day and is even starting to put little sentences together. Her newest thing is a really high pitch fake laugh that she likes to do all the time and she thinks she is hilarious. She is still a blondy, but it seems to be getting darker as the months pass, but her beautiful blue eyes seem to be here to stay. Some of our favorite words are "saucy" (sorry), "scuscu"(scuse you), and "de de"(Dayton). Her other favorite thing is to call your name over and over until you answer her and then with a smile says "hi", then repeats it over and over. During the Christmas holiday she felt the need to comment on every house that had lights on it by saying "wow" or "look" and repeating this until someone acknowledged her and agreed. She loves her big brother whether it is to play with him or annoy him, and she goes back and forth between being a mamma's girl and a daddy's girl.

And all eyes were on the frosting. It was all that the kids ate, and then asked for another piece.

This is the gift that Dayton picked out for Camrie and was so excited to give it to her. He was also excited because he picked one out for himself. In fact he made out pretty well getting 3 new things for himself. "One for Camrie and one for me". Is what he kept telling me while we were shopping.

This is her new princess chair that Grandma Jody and Papa Mike gave her for her birthday

Jody and Mike left just a few days before Camries birthday so we had a little party before they left.

We had some cake.

Here is Dayton having a little sample. It took us a little while to get Camrie to blow the candles out, but after Dayton and I both showed her, she finally blew them out all by herself.

Here are the kids on Camire's actual birthday. We let her open the presents before church so she would have a little time to play with them.

Dayton was convinced that it was both of their birthdays and he kept singing "Happy Birthday" to Dayton and Camire.

Of everything she got this was one of her favorites. "Nanny"!! (candy)
Here is our birthday girl all ready for church. Thanks to Papa and Nana Decker for the much needed cute dress.

After dinner the kids took a bubble bath that they loved and then since we had already had cake we did out other favorite thing, milkshakes and popcorn with a movie. It was a great ending to a great day.

Bringing in the New Year
This year we said hello to the new year Vegas style. It was completely unplanned and most fun I have had in a really long time. So new years eve day we were trying to make some plans and Kyle was to text some friends and tell them the plan, which was to come over to our house for some food and games. So when I got in the shower kyle was on the phone, and when I got out of the shower we were going to Vegas. That is actually how it happened. There was one other couple that wanted to hang out but there was not much for the four of us to do so an hour later we were headed to Vegas. I have only been when I was young and Kyle had never been so we were in for an adventure. We were so excited and we were not disappointed.

Here we are at New York, New York

Here we are waiting for midnight to come and trying to stay warm and not get separated. There were a ton of people and almost all of them were crazy.

It's Midnight, all the people in front of us.
This is the other view, behind us.

And here we are in front of the sign. You can not go to Vegas and not take a picture here, so we stopped to take a picture and met some very interesting people. We are with our friends Ashley and Kelly, and the four of us had such a great time!

There was a 10 minute fireworks show that started at midnight and they all were set off from the tops of about 8 hotels that surrounded us. It was incredible.

The next night we went to a pirate show after we had been shopping and done some sight seeing. After the show we went to this amazing all-you-can eat place and then hit the hot tub.

A BIG thanks to Mike and Jody who stayed with the kids and watched cartoons for 3 days while we were off having fun. It was so nice to not have to worry about the kids and have a little get-a-way.
Santa Came
Christmas came so fast this year and the kids were more then ready. For Christmas Eve we headed down to Provo to be with my brother and his family. The kids love to play and us adults we able to relax and just hang out. We had a wonderful dinner of homemade chicken noodle soup and scones, ( a Decker family tradition). Then we played games, sang some songs, read a few stories, and got ready for Santa. Christmas was a great day of gifts from family and especially the Grandparents. It was an all pj day as none of us changed. We ate Turkey, had cookies, and played some games. It was wonderful.

Here the kids are at the kids table about ready to eat. An English tradition that my sister-in-laws family holds from their military days in living in England is these little presents that hold prizes in them. It was so fun for the kids to each get one and open.
It was torture waiting to open them to see what was in side.
Each one came with a prize and a hat that we made all the kids put on. Camrie seemed to like hers because she ate her dinner with it on.

All the kids in their new Christmas pj's from Papa and Nana Decker.
Reese, Kenzi, Camrie, Emery, Camden, Gracy, and Dayton.

It was so fun to have Papa Mike and Grandma Jody here with us for Christmas.

Christmas Morning
Dayton was so excited to finally get some of these toys that I can not pronounce. Thanks Uncle Jay and Aunt Meghan!

Here are Emery and Camrie as the Shepard's. We had all the kids dress up and act out the night of Jesus' birth. It was so cute and they all did a great job.

Thanks to Grandma Jody and Papa Mike Camrie got a new baby to go with her new stroller that Santa brought her.

And here is the stroller. She still loves it, though she tends to ride it herself or hold her baby and push around her other toys. Either way, she loves it!

Doctor Visit
Because Dayton was a premature baby we have to take him to a specialist every now and then to make sure everything is still ok. There was a little scare when we thought he was going to need surgery but come to find out it was mis-diagnosed and all the below pics show everything he went through for nothing.

He was not happy to change into these clothes but after some big bribing we talked him into it.

Here he is all hooked up to make sure everything is okay. He has no clue why he is there, but he was so good the whole time and other then asking the doctors a million questions, he was a great patient.

And here we are almost done eating a slushy before we get to go home.

He did not think it was too bad there because they had really cool toys.

Thanks to Grandma Jody and Papa Mike, Kyle and I were able to be there with him the whole time while they stayed home and played with Camrie.
