Summer Trip Beginning

Here we go again. We left a few weeks ago driving across the country heading to Northern New York to see family. We made such good time and the kids were so good that we made it in 2 long days instead of the normal three, rolling in at 1:30 am.

Dayton and Camrie played with their blankets, pillows, and watched every Disney movie we owned. Also a few toys and some coloring to kill the time.

This was also a nice way to pass the time. Dayton found being under his blanket was the best way to sleep.

We had to make a few stops to stretch and walk around. This we just came across and it was great because the kids ran up and down this thing for about 20 minutes.

While in NY...

Kyle and I were able to go to Palmyra to see some church sites and the pageant that night. It was amazing to be there and we loved the show.

Here is the end of the pageant with over 800 members in the cast. It was a beautiful night, and we were so grateful the rain stopped long enough for us to see it.

Twice we have gone out for ice cream and the kids have played on this old train.

T Ball Trophy

Just finished our first t-ball season and the only thing better then the snack is getting a trophy. Dayton was so excited to put it in his room next to his soccer trophy's. He still likes soccer, but he really likes t-ball. I asked him what he likes about it and he said, " I love when it is my turn to hit, & I am a really good hitter."
