Hot Springs

We were invited to go camping for Memorial weekend, but camping is not really our thing. So we went and played for the day on Saturday. The guys golfed while the kids and mom's hung around and played. We rode bikes, played with dirt and rocks, found fish, played wiffle ball and bocce ball.
Kyle hitting.
Dayton hitting.
Camrie playing with dirty pond water that held the fish the kids found. As gross as it was it kept her entertained for hours until she had loved the fish to death.
Who knew a big pile of rocks and dirt could be so much fun.

Time for swimming.
After dinner all the kids went swimming in the natural hot springs pool. Dayton said it was like a big bath tub. We thought Camrie would swim for a little and then be done, but we had to drag both kids out when it started raining. They loved it.
We had plans for Memorial Day but bad weather got in the way. We still wanted to do something fun with the kids so we got this fire pit to make smores. Monday night was so bad that every time we went to make the fire it started to rain. So a few nights later we finally got our smores.

Dayton is ready to roast.

The only thing better then making them is eating them.
Even after we were done with the smores all the kids wanted to do was roast more. We had to stop them because nobody wanted to eat them.

Dayton in Action

Dayton has kept us busy these last few weeks. He started and finished another season of soccer, graduated from Kindergarten and has been playing baseball.
Soccer was another success this year with many goals and his favorite thing, snacks.

Another winning season deserves a trophy.
This is his Power Ranger pose.
Kindergarten Graduation.

Kyle, Camrie, and I all went and watched Dayton and his class sing and dance all the things they learned this year. Dayton was not very happy that during the last few days of school they did not get recess because they had to practice singing, but he did great.

A last day of school picture, and a funny face picture.
Baseball.
Dayton has become a great ball player. His favorite part, besides the snack, is that his dad is the coach. He says, "at baseball he is not my dad he's my coach." They have both done great this season. Camrie and I both love to go watch them play.
