Crusin the Western Caribbean

In July Kyle and I will have been married 10 years, so this past April we celebrated by going on a cruise. We sailed out of Florida for a 5 night getaway to the Western Caribbean.  We went with some friends and had an amazing time.
Here we are just about to leave Florida.  No phones, no internet, no ESPN for 5 days.
Kyle, checking out the view from our room.
Me and my friend Sarah on her birthday in the dinning room in the cruise.
Our first stop was tot he Cayman Islands.  We were not there very long so we spent all our time at the beach.  It was the most amazing beach we have ever been to.  Water so warm and calm it felt like a bath, and so clear you could see all the way to your toes and the fish swimming around you.
 Ocean view.
Ready to go out for the night and see what entertainment they had.  We went to 2 -3 shows every night.
One night our friend Joe got pulled up on stage to dance the "macarena".  We were grateful for his willingness to entertain the rest of us at his own expense.
Getting ready for another show and enjoying some yummy fun drinks.
Here is our group ready for a show.  This is one of the lounges we hung out in at night.  Joe and Sarah, me and Kyle, and Jessica and Dave.
During the day we spent most our time on the deck at the pool.  I only went in the pool once, but I spent hours by it soaking up the sun.  Kyle hung out with me some, but he went to the pool a lot too.
 He also liked the slide.
It was so relaxing out there, but also fun with music and shows to watch.  And the food bar was always open.
Our other stop was Cozumel Mexico. We had so much fun here. We found a private beach with everything we could have asked for.

There were so many beautiful views there.
We even went snorkeling, which is something I never thought I would do.  Kyle nor I really wanted to, but it turned out to be one of our favorite things.
Hand-stand contest with Kyle and Joe.
Just a random anchor.
After our adventures at the beach and eating at a Mexican restaurant we went shopping to find treasures for us and to take home to the kids.  It was so fun to see Kyle back in Mexico speaking and being with the people.  I think he enjoyed being back more then he thought he would.  Plus he was a great negotiator/translator for us the whole day.
Dress up night on the boat.
We all had our fill of "all you can eat" ice cream while on the ship, but Kyle had double.  If you could not find  him this is where to look.  I lost count of how many, but at least one before and after every meal and several in between for all 5 days.
One last ice cream before we leave to go home.  Nobody was ready to go home, and we are all ready to go again.
All the fun and late nights hit me on the way home.  This was the beginning of sitting at the airport for 8 hours waiting for our flight.  It was a long day, but so worth it.

Easter Sunday

Easter morning the kids found all their eggs and ate some candy before church. The Easter Bunny came bringing candy filled eggs, some flip flops, and new shades for all.  We are ready for spring.
Dressed and ready for church.
 All in their Sunday best.
Before church was a little bit of craziness.  All the kids were busy looking at their new stuff and eating candy.
 It was very exciting!
Taryn wanted to eat every piece of candy she got right when she got it.
Camrie was the first one to find all her eggs.
It took a little time, but Taryn caught on.
On the hunt.
 All done.
 Just so cute!
