Enchanted Forest Water Safari

While in New York one of our favorite things to do is go to the Enchanted Forest amusement and water park. It was a beautiful day and we stayed till almost closing.
This is the first ride we always ride to see everything we want to do.   Uncle Jared and Dayton
Taryn and mom.
Checking out all the fun things they have.
On to the rides.  Camrie wanted to go all by herself.
So Dayton took Taryn.
Water Park.  There were slides, rides, tubes and all kinds of fun water things.
Jared and Camrie.
Taryn loved going on all the rides.  I think she rode everyone at least twice.
This was my favorite ride.  The scrambler.  Taryn was too little and Dad was too chicken, so Dayton, Camrie and I went on this a few times with Jared.
This was Dayton's favorite ride.  He rode it 6 times.  Camrie and I went on it a couple times with him and the rest he went by himself.
Pool side with Jared.
Camrie went on every ride they let her.
Chillin in the pool.  You would not know that it is not really that hot, but that did not stop any of us from getting wet.
More water slides.
Rest time. I tried to get Taryn to take a little power nap, but all she wanted to do was play.
Bumper cars.  Taryn was too little so we just watched.
One more game with uncle Jared.
On the way out we stopped to eat a funnel cake, so good.  The kids had so much fun they cried when we said it was time to go, but we will be back again next summer.

All The Way To New York, And All The Way Back

It had been 2 years since we had been to New York to see all our family and friends.  So this past July we packed up the kids and the car and made the 30 hour 3 day drive there.  It was really long and there were a few times we had to fight Taryn to get back in the car, but we made it there and made it all the way back home.
Lots of things to pass the time.  Coloring.
Puzzles.

Sleeping.
Movies.
And random parks along the way.
More sleeping.
Anything to pass the time.
Taryn under the blanket playing who knows what, but it kept her busy.
Finally after dark we would stop at a hotel to stretch and jump on the beds and sleep.
Ice cream Sundays.
Anything to pass the time...
Eating toes.
Stickers.
The kids were so good and we had so much fun in New York it was well worth the 3 days drive there and the 3 days drive home.

4th Of July

We stayed home for the 4th this year and had some friends over.  We started our day out with Dad getting some donuts for breakfast.  Then it was too hot to play outside so we went to the movies. After a yummy grilled dinner we had ice cream cones with sprinkles.  Finally when things cooled off we headed outside for some more fun.
The kids went through 10+ boxes of poppers in less then 10 min.
Over the head throw.
There were also random loud firecrackers going off left and right.  Here is Dayton throwing one.
Reese, Camrie, and Kyla just chillin.
Happy Birthday America.  My 3 babies celebrating.
Snow-cone break.
Sparklers!
Taryn had a love hate relationship with the sparklers.  She wanted to do it so bad like all the other kids, but was terrified of them.  She got better as the night went on.
Ready for the show.
And a great show it was.  Kyle and our friend Pete crossed the border to WY to buy some "good" fire works and it was well worth it.  We had an amazing show right here in our front yard.
