West Haven Days

This past weekend was West Haven Days.  Dayton was in the parade with the All Star baseball team so we all got up early on a Saturday and went to see Dayton.

 The girls loved watching, but more they loved collecting the candy.

 Right after the parade was Dayton's baseball game.

 He had a great season winning his division and making it to the playoffs.

 It was a really hot day and Jaren was not having a good time.

 So we came home and cooled off on the slip n slide.

 We then went back to the park for an awesome fireworks show.

Jaren's Blessing Day

We blessed Jaren at church today.  He is only 3 weeks old but it worked out great because most our family was able to be there. He was blessed by his Dad and Papa Decker, Deck, Cache, Brady, Tyler, Scott Millward and Bishop Zesiger. Kyle gave a wonderful blessing and Jaren was perfect and didn't cry once.

Because he was so little we could not find an outfit that fit him so we did the best we could.  Thanks to Jaci for the tie and Grandma Jody for the Yankee shoes.

We were so blessed to have so many family members there.  Especially Grandma Jody who came all the way from New York for Jaren's special day.

Princess Taryn Turns 3

Taryn asked every day for months if it was her birthday yet.  The day finally came and she loved it.  Taryn is some how our sweet little angel at times and quite the stubborn monster at other times. She loves to play with the "guys" (Dayton and Camrie) and thinks she should get to do everything they do.  She follows me around all day and loves to help me do everything.  He favorite words are "I do it."  She loves to wear pretty dresses, skirts and watch princess movies. She makes us laugh every day with her sassy ways and sweet smile.  Our family is so much better with her in it!

This was an adventure as most of Taryns balls were thrown anywhere but up her ramp into a circle.

Camrie was so good to take Taryn anywhere she wanted to go.

I would say she was a little spoiled.

One Week Old

We can't believe we have already had this cute baby for a whole week.  

It seems like all he does is sleep.

The kids get so excited when he opens his eyes.

Jaren is so loved, the kids fight to see who gets to hold him first.  I keep telling them there is no reason to fight we get to keep him.

Jaren is such a good baby and is great at taking all the hugs and kisses we give him every day.

Jaren' s first check-up.  This is deceiving because he did not like anything about being there and screamed the whole time.  There are no pictures because I had to hold him the whole time.

At one week Jaren weighed 7 lb 2 ounces.

Tired after being at ballgames all night.  At just one week old Jaren had already been to 6 baseball games. Dayton was so excited to have Jaren come watch him play ball.
