BYU Baseball

Dayton and his cousin Kaden went to a baseball camp this summer held by the BYU baseball players and coaches. They played ball, learned some new drills, ate in the college cafeteria, and had a whole lot of fun.  Plus Dayton stayed with Kaden the whole week, so they had fun off the field too.
 Ready for camp.
Hanging out with Cosmo the Cougar.
They got a Cougar water bottle, t-shirt and sports bag.

Dinner For Dad

Kyle and I went to Provo to have a special dinner celebrating my dad beating cancer.
A rare time this many of us are together.  It was so fun to be together even for just a few hours.
Jaci, Dave, Kim, Cache, Kristen, Brady, and Jenny.
All the kids but missing Jamie.
The whole group for the celebration.
Enjoying dinner in our own private room, it was a great night.

Celebrating The 4th

We love the 4th so we celebrate all week. We start with fireworks early in the week, lots of other fun activities throughout the week and end with fireworks on the 4th.
Waiting for fireworks at West Haven Days.
The kids loved the glow sticks.
They found all kids of ways to play with them. Camire was pretty good at hula-hooping with them.
Grandma Jody joined us again this year.
12 years of watching fireworks together.
 Jaren thought they were great.
 Dayton jump roped with them.

Not pictured is Taryn playing Frisbee with the glow rings.  This was the favorite game of all and I am pretty sure the kids hit every person within reach of us.  Sorry to all the people we hit.
Watching fireworks.
Jaren loved them, but it was a little late.
How else would we spent the 4th but on a baseball field.
This guy had 6 games in 3 days.  You can't tell in the pictures but it is about 100 degrees at every game.
Another trophy... we did not expect to keep winning but they did awesome and we took 2nd.
Happy 4th from the kids.

They were all in their Red White & Blue.
Time for more fireworks. Jaren was given glow sticks instead of sparklers and he was totally fine with that.
Not our best family picture, but the best we got that day.
 Having fun watching fireworks.
 Some friends joined us.
Pictures do not do it justice, but Kyle and Pete put on another great fireworks show.
