So Thankful

It was a calm relaxing Thanksgiving with just Papa and Nana Decker here with us. But that did not stop us from making a feast and enjoying all of it.
Making pies with Nana. She had lots of help.
Turkey time.

Here we all are ready to eat till we are sick. Papa, Nana, Uncle Mike, Dayton, Taryn, Camrie, Kristen and Kyle.
Jaren and Ryder were both sleeping during the dinner so they ate later.
We had to wait a few hours, but there is always room for dessert. Pies, cookies, Oreo balls and ice cream.
Nana's main job was to hold Ryder.
On Saturday we had a quick visit from Jaci and her family. Here is Jaren and Kylie with Papa.
Saturday afternoon we were invited to the BYU game. But these were not just any seats. They were floor seats, with a nice catered dinner before the game, a water and candy bar at the beginning of the game and then tons of snacks and candy at half time. We were actually on the floor. A player fell into Dad and Dayton and gave us a little scare.
Thanks Deck for being out of town. Thanks Dad for inviting us, and thanks Nana for watching the other kids so I could go to the game.
Turkey is over so now it is time for Christmas. We love getting our tree up as fast as we can. So this is how we spent our Friday night.
Grandma Jody got these cute Yankee helmet ornaments for Ryder and Chase.
We are not sure what he is doing.
Getting the ornaments on any way we can.
Time for the star.
We are ready for Christmas.
One of my favorite things is lighting the tree when it is all done and seeing all the little shoes under it waiting for Needle Nose to come.

Ryder 4 Months

We can't believe our baby is 4 months. Ryder is such a good baby who loves to be held and loves attention, which is good because he gets lots. Our favorite thing is that he is smiling. We all love to make him smile.
He now has kissable cheeks and little squishy thighs weighing in at 12 lbs.

It's Broken

Dayton hit his hand against his friend Kane's head and then the cement floor in Papa and Nana's garage when they were playing a little one on one basketball. He told me he hurt it really bad and then went off to do something else.  I knew it was hurt but I did not think it was broken.
Two weeks later it was not getting better so I took him to the doctor and it was broken. I felt terrible, he had gone 2 weeks playing with a broken hand. He had even played in a basketball game where he had 8 points, 3 steals, and 5 rebounds all with a broken hand.
Getting a cast put on it and of course he picked neon orange. Normally they would cast it for six weeks, but since it took us two weeks to get him there he only has to have it on for four.
You break your hand, you get an Oreo Mcflurry.
