It was sunny and warm so we started fall break by spending the day at Lagoon. It was packed but still fun.
The kids love the trick or treating walk. It was a long line, but anything for candy.
Lot's of fun random things to play.
Dayton and Kane.
Pumpkin picking.
The kids waned to put Ryder in his pumpkin.
Gutting the pumpkins and saving as many seeds as possible to cook and eat.
If you look Dayton is nowhere to be found. He hates pumpkin guts and cleaning them out. So he talked his sisters into cleaning his while we was off playing night games.
You don't have to ask Camrie twice to clean out the guts. This is after everyone was done and gone. She made all kinds of things out of it and made quite the mess.
A little strange, but she had so much fun.
The next day we took pumpkins to Chase and then headed to the corn maze.
We tried a new corn maze this year and it was awesome.
There were only a few people there with us, so the kids just ran from around and never had to wait in line.
Next year Ryder will get to play too, but he thought this wagon was fun.
The kids loved the slides and the zip line the best. It looks like a simple zip-line, but there is a surprise at the end. You think you are going to hit the pole but the line ends and whipped you all around.
I can't believe none of them fell off. They learned real quick to hold on tight and loved being whipped around.
Dad took Ryder down the slide and zip-line. Ryder did not really like the zip-line but liked the slide.
A little tiny corn beach.
Dayton is so talented.
Time to get lost in the corn maze.
It took us a little over an hour to get through the whole thing and I think we cheated through some of it, but we had fun. It was nice and tall and fun to play hide and seek. I am just happy we didn't lose anybody.
The next night it was time to carve faces on our pumpkins. We let the kids design and help cut their own faces. Except Ryder, he just ate snacks.
Even Dayton carved his own pumpkin.
The masterpieces are complete.
