Family Easter Party

A few weeks later we had our family Easter party. There is nothing better then eating lots of food, then going and finding lots of candy. The Dads hide the eggs and there is no telling where they might be. After finding the eggs the kids all trade for their favorite candy. This year the best surprise was some of the eggs had $1 inside, the little guys did not like this so they traded all the big kids their money for candy. 

Field Trip with Camrie

I finally got to go on a field trip with Camrie and all the 4th graders. We went to the Hill Aerospace Museum then lunch and then a huge rock show. Luckily both places were inside because it was freezing, but we still had to eat lunch outside at a park. After about 15 minutes Camrie and I finished our lunch in the car, but the cold did not stop us from having fun and learning lots about military planes and rocks. Camrie even got to help break a rock open and see the inside. 

Kyle in Cabo

Kyle got the chance to go to Cabo for a guys golf trip with my brother Dave. For 5 days they golfed, ate all kinds of sea food and golfed some more. One of the days was spent on a yacht and they all went out swimming and playing on jet skis. They all took turns jumping off the side of the yacht into the ocean where the water was freezing, but it was a chance of a lifetime. Several nights they were fed by professional chefs and in their downtime they golfed some more. Oh, and don't forget the snakes and lizards he saw while there. On the last day, after golfing, they went to one of the world's largest pools. 

Spring Break

All the kids ever want to do is go to a hotel and go swimming. So we surprised them with a stay-cation to West Jordan where we did just that. We went out to eat, went swimming, took some naps, got ice cream, went to a movie and then did it all over again. We saw Peter Rabit and Sherlock Gnomes and one of the nights we went to a fun center for some skating. It was so fun and relaxing and we can't wait to do it again.

The pool was a little cold and the hot tub was a little too hot, so everyone bounced back and forth. But Jaren, myself, and Ryder preferred the hot tub.

Keeping this kid entertained was no small task.

Kyle got Jaren in the pool and swimming around which he is usually too scared to do, so this was very exciting.

Easter Sunday

We had a wonderful Easter Sunday and the weeks leading up to it. It was a fun busy time with sports, spring break, and the Easter bunny stopping by.

That afternoon we all went and spent some time with Chase.
