West Haven Jr Jazz

Dayton keeps us busy with all his activities, and right now it is basketball.
Dayton is getting a little stronger and more aggressive every game.  His team is a work in progress.
Dayton has become quite a good ball handler and has scored in almost every game.
Coach Kyle has been very patient in teaching these boys how to play the game.  He has done great.
Here are a few seconds of our last game.

Tubing In The Mountains

We took the kids tubing last week with some friends and it was awesome.
We were there for 2 hours and we had to fight the kids to leave it was so fun.
Kyle and I have had our fill of the snow, but the kids are still enjoying it.
Dayton and Camrie were not shy. They tried every hill and went down frontwards and backwards.
Even Taryn went down the hills all by herself.  This was not our plan, but for some reason this was their rule.  She was not a fan and cried going down. The last few times she just stuck her head down in the tube.
Here is our view and it was pretty amazing. We were pulled up the mountain in our tubes which made it really easy not having to walk up the mountain.
Here are the hills we went down.  Another amazing view.

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

A few days after her birthday, Camrie had an all girl party.  She wanted it all pink and purple and all princesses.
Here they are after making princess crowns.
 Pizza and juice.
Balloon games and a dance party.  Music provided by Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift.
 Time for presents.
For the cake they all got a cupcake and frosting and were able to decorate it any way they wanted.
Here is the birthday girl after we all sang and she blew out the candles.

5 and Fabulous

Our little girl turned 5. She was so excited for so long she never thought the day would actually come.  The night before Kyle and I were talking to her and said, "Do you know what tomorrow is?"  And she said, " Yep, it's my birthday, and I can do what ever I want."
All dressed up on her special day. Camrie was excited to be the leader at school and take cupcakes. And that all the candy on the poster was hers and she didn't have to share.
Her birthday breakfast of choice, a donut with sprinkles.
After waiting all day and then some, Daddy got home from work with her birthday dinner. Papa and Nana also drove up in a snow storm to be with Camrie on her birthday  Here she is finding her presents.
Spoiled by so many that love her.
She got a new robe, some new school clothes, a pretty clock for her room, new dresses, some art supplies, and this new big girl scooter.
Make a wish, and blow out the candles.
Papa and Nana Decker were so sweet to brave the snow and come party with us.  It is such a treat to have them live so close.
 Our sweet girl.
I had to put this in, Dayton enjoying cake and ice cream.

Winter Break

There was no slowing down after all the presents were opened.  We took the kids to see a movie and then little by little got all their gifts out of boxes and put together.
Taryn got a little trampoline that all the kids enjoy.
Camrie got a new tumbling mat that has not only been very helpful but fun too. It is hard to catch on camera but here she is doing a cartwheel.
Taryn likes to roll to her own kind of tumbling.
The after math of Christmas. Playing with all our new stuff.
 Taryn got a new car.
She can even get in and out all by herself.
She loves to be pushed around and around the house.
Then it snowed and snowed and snowed.
It was really nice because we were all snowed in.  Even Kyle was off most the week and we were able to just play and relax.

Being pulled around in the snow.  The next day Kyle took Dayton and Camrie out sledding for real.  They had so much fun and were so brave they even went down head first.
 Eating the new fresh snow.
There is nothing like playing in a bunch of snow with Dad at Christmas time.

Christmas Morning

Late on Christmas Eve we came home to be here when Santa came.  We left out cookies, carrots, milk, and went to bed.  When we woke up Santa had come.
Here are the kids opening their gifts from Santa.
Grandma sent the girls beautiful Christmas dolls.
As we opened presents we talked to Garndma Jody and Uncle Jared on the computer.
This was all Camrie wanted for Christmas... A mermaid Barbie who's hair changes color in water.
No big boy toys for this guy this year.  New golf clubs, new baseball glove, and new basketball shoes.
Taryn wearing her much needed new coat and new pj's.
 Pillow Pets.
Kyle got a few new things too.  Now he is officially on the team.
Another great gift, among many, the kids got was a kindle fire from Grandpa Bill.  They love to play games.
We had a Very Merry Christmas.
