First Day of School - 2013

Summer came to an end real fast and it was time to go back to school.  This year Dayton is in 3rd grade and has Mrs. Poulsen.  His favorite thing about school is recess.   Camrie started Kindergarten and has Mrs. Bair.  She was very excited to get the same teacher that Dayton had.  Her favorite thing about school is everything but wishes she got to go all day instead of just half day.

Camrie started a week later and boy was it a long week.  But her day finally came and she was more then ready with her new dress and new shoes.

New York Trip

While in New York we played all day every day.  

We saw Grandpa Bill.

And met our new nephew/cousin Jackson.

We got to see cousin Ainsley and play together.

And went swimming.

Played outside.

Played with Grandma Jody.

And Uncle Jared.

Ate ice cream.

And cake.

Grandpa's birthday.

More ice cream.  This time at Good Ole Wishey's.  It is a tradition.

After months and months of asking and asking and even praying, Camrie finally got her hair cut. Her beautiful long hair before she cut it.

And her adorable hair after.

Taryn did not get her hair cut but did not want to be left out, so thank you Heidi for playing along.

All the big guys against the little guys.  There were twice as many big guys as little and they would not let them win.

No trip to New York is complete without a bon fire and some smores.

One more party before we go.  Happy 30th uncle Jared.

Saying goodbye to Grandma.  We had such a good time in New York it was hard to leave, but we look forward to visiting them again and we hope they might come visit us.

Enchanted Forest Water Safari

While in New York one of our favorite things to do is go to the Enchanted Forest amusement and water park. It was a beautiful day and we stayed till almost closing.

On to the rides.  Camrie wanted to go all by herself.

So Dayton took Taryn.

Water Park.  There were slides, rides, tubes and all kinds of fun water things.

Taryn loved going on all the rides.  I think she rode everyone at least twice.

This was my favorite ride.  The scrambler.  Taryn was too little and Dad was too chicken, so Dayton, Camrie and I went on this a few times with Jared.

This was Dayton's favorite ride.  He rode it 6 times.  Camrie and I went on it a couple times with him and the rest he went by himself.

Camrie went on every ride they let her.

Chillin in the pool.  You would not know that it is not really that hot, but that did not stop any of us from getting wet.

Rest time. I tried to get Taryn to take a little power nap, but all she wanted to do was play.

Bumper cars.  Taryn was too little so we just watched.

One more game with uncle Jared. 

On the way out we stopped to eat a funnel cake, so good.  The kids had so much fun they cried when we said it was time to go, but we will be back again next summer.
