End Of School

This year I helped out at field day. It is the last full day of school and it is a whole day of fun and games. 

I was at the spray paint station where we sprayed the kids hair all different colors. This was a new thing and it was a huge hit. The kids loved it and we sprayed hair for more then 6 hours, until there was no paint left. I was covered in 6 different colors and my fingers were numb, but it was so much fun.

There were games everywhere you looked. 

Dayton helped at the bow and arrow game and only got hit in the face twice.

I had a hard time finding my kids they were having so much fun.

Getting ready for the fire truck to spray them with water. It is so crazy, Hundreds of kids gather in the field and the fire truck sprays them with the hose. They are all soaked and smiling from ear to ear. They love it. Dayton did not go out there, but both Camrie and Taryn were soaked and having a blast.

One more picture real quick on the last day of school. This is usually a happy day because then I get to sleep in for 3 months, but this is the last time Dayton will go to school with any siblings . They are getting too big too fast.

The last day of school was a half day so a few of us moms threw a party for our 6th graders.

Some kids had left but we wanted one group picture before the party was over and summer officially started. Really they are just a bunch of goof balls.

Taryn Kindergarten Graduation

I had little time to recover from Dayton's graduation and it was time to celebrate Taryn graduating from Kindergarten. She is such a good helper at home I am going to miss her being around, but she is so excited to get to go to school all day and finally eat in the cafeteria.

She was so embarrassed that I made her stand up in front of everyone. She didn't want to get in trouble because she was supposed to be sitting, but I told her it would be okay and I would get in trouble, not her. She thought that was funny.

They sang songs about all the things they learned throughout the year and now they are ready to move on to first grade.

Taryn was so ready and excited for her speaking part. She did great.

This lucky girl even got Daddy to come see her on her big day.

And Papa and Nana were able to make it.

We love Mrs Bair as our Kindergarten teacher.

Out to celebrate, we went to Buffalo Wild Wings for dinner and then a scoop of ice cream for dessert.

Dayton's 6th Grade Graduation

I was not looking forward to Monday because it was the day Dayton graduated from 6th grade. I have been dreading this day since his first day of Kindergarten, but ready or not here it was. At least Dayton was excited. 

Each kid shared some artwork, shared some interesting facts and personal goals they had.

Dayton had some facts and some other interesting info that may or may not be true.

Most of the graduation was just kids getting awards. I had not heard that Dayton was getting anything so I did not expect him to get am award. It was almost time for all the 6th graders to walk and get their diploma but there was one last award from the principal.

There was one girl and one boy that the principal picks to receive the Cragun Citizenship award. I was helping Jaren and almost missed it as Dayton's name was called and he walked up to the stage. I held back tears as he accepted the award. I am not surprised, just so proud.

The ceremony was a little long for this kid. He was tired of sitting so he climbed into Ryder's car seat and made himself comfy while watching my phone.

Out to celebrate Dayton's big day, Zupas for dinner and McDonald's for ice-cream. I am having such a hard time believing he is going to 7th grade. I am not ready for this.

Pocatello Baseball Tournament

It was no easy task but in a very full mini-van, we all made it up to Pocatello to watch Dayton and the Hardknox play in a baseball tournament.

It was a little hard to find some shade, but the worst part was the wind. It kept blowing all our stuff over.

Tying to protect Ryder from the sun and wind, this was Taryn's turn to entertain him.

I love watching this kid play. He is a great ball player and has so much fun with his team.

He pitched 3 innings the first day and another 3 the second day.

The second game things really got crazy as the wind picked up even more. None of us could see the game and every time we opened our eyes more dirt got in them. Everything was covered in dirt and the game took forever because they had to keep calling time to wait for the dirt to settle.

After some much needed showers we went to dinner with some of the team. It was so fun to go out together.

When she is tired she goes to sleep no matter where we are, in her defense it was after 10.

We were able to get a suite with adjoining rooms. The girls had a bed and the boys had a bed. Dad and Mom each had their own bed too. Ryder was with us in his pack-n-play.

Day 2 pitching. We woke up to it snowing and freezing. Luckily we had a noon game, so things did warm up a little but it was still cold.

We found a great pizza place for lunch where we could all hang out, eat, and thaw. Dayton has had so much fun with this team.

One of Ryder's favorite people Keri, she is so great to help me with all the kids especially Ryder.

We got home from the tournament late Saturday night and Mother's Day was the next day. We were all tired and cranky, but I have almost no pictures with all 5 kids, so they were sweet enough to take a picture for me.
