Happy 4th

We celebrated the 4th a little early by going to Bear Lake Friday morning and spending the day there. We played on the beach & in the water and with some friends. It was a long day in the sun and we all loved it.

Dayton and Camrie waisted no time jumping in, I took this not 5 minutes after we got there.

The friends we were with had a boat, tubes and all kinds of fun toys for the sand and water. Dayton went out in the boat and even went tubing in the water. He has a great time till he fell off, then he was just mad and did not get on again.

This was all the tubing action Camrie had. She and I skipped the boat rides and played in the sand.

Dayton trying to fix somebodies sand castle.

Camrie played in the sand and water for hours. She would not get out no matter how hard I tried to get her to eat or rest. She had so much fun and we are still cleaning sand out of her hair almost a week later. The only bad thing was she kept trying to eat it, but then would get mad because it was gross. I would clean her mouth but a few minutes later she would try it again.

After the lake we went to see my brother and his family who were there visiting my sister in law's family and they were so nice to let us hang out for a while and play. Dayton loved playing with his cousins and loved this "big hot bath tub that was outside".

The 4th was pretty relaxing with some grilling for dinner, then some ice cream cones after, but the highlight was the sparklers the kids got to wave around. Camrie did great, but this was all the excitement she got becasue she couldn't last to see the big show.

We did our sparklers with a few of the neighbors and Dayton loved that. They went through around 15 boxes of sparklers then we all sat together and watched as the neighbors took turns lighting some in the street.

We wanted to see some big fireworks in the sky but did not want to be in a crowd so we decided to try to see them on the roof. We did not have much luck because all the shows were too far and we were just getting bit by bugs. But it was fun to try and Dayton thought it was crazy, fun, and a little scary.
