We tried to tell Dayton to tell people he had been in a fight and that is how he got this black eye, but he would not go for it. So the truth is he was playing on some bars at the grocery store while I was checking out and fell hard right to the floor. I did not see it, but heard it and thought I was going to have to take him to the ER. There was no bleeding, just a huge bump on his left eye. He took it like a champ after a few cries and screams, and even got a free candy bar.
These pictures do not do justice to what it really looks like, but it was the best we could get. It was a huge bump and he could only open that eye half way.
I thought this picture was too cute not to add. This is my little man, all beat up and still smiling for the camera.

Oh my. I hate that as good as cameras are...you can't ever really capture things. I see how bad it is in pic mode...I can't or don't even want to imagine real life. Poor little guy. He needs a free candy bar everyday until it's gone.

Dayton said that he fell off a bar when he came to play with Cole. I thought that he meant a counter top bar. He seemed pretty proud of it though. Thats a boy for ya.
