The day finally came that it was time to go on our big trip. We were all packed up and on the road by 8 am. We pulled into a McDonalds about 7 minutes from our house and Camrie asked, "Are we there? Is this Disneyland?" 12 hours and 4 stops later we made it to San Diego, California.
Driving through the mountains just past St. George into Nevada. It was amazing.
We stayed with some friends who had a beautiful home in San Diego and were kind enough to let us over take them for a week. They had everything we needed, but all the kids wanted was the pool.
The kids were in the pool the first morning we were there. They were in their swim suits because we were going to the beach, but they did not wait for that. They wanted a little pool action before we hit the beach. The pool was perfect for us because there was a big section that was about a foot deep that the kids could play in.
The rest of the pool was 3-6 feet which was perfect for Dayton because all he wanted to do was jump or flip off the side.
