Taryn has been asking to get her ears pierced for months. Camrie would often complain when I put her earrings in saying oww oww. So Taryn would say, "I want owwies in my ears". We were going to wait till her birthday but we just decided to do it when we were out last Friday night.
Here she is just before. This was the best smile I could get. She had no idea what was going on and was a little nervous.

It was quite a shock and there were tears, but a sucker and new play phone with make-up in it helped ease the pain. Now she loves them and loves to look at herself in the mirror.
