Mini Family Reunion

Labor Day weekend was packed with as much family time as we could get.  The Baird's were visiting from Virginia and it had been 2 years since we had seen them. So we had lots of catching up to do.
Here are a lot of the kids still missing quite a few, including Kyon, who was playing in the football game we were at.
Cousins make the best friends.  Reese, Camrie, and McKell.  Tayla and Emery are not looking.
There are too many of us so we spent most of our time at the park.  Playing and eating until it got dark.
These little ones are guarding/eating the popsicle cooler.  Taryn, Caleb, Mathew, and Carsen.
Sleepover.  The girls (Becca, Emery, McKell, Taryn, Camrie) were all at Cache and Amy's house. All the boys were all at Deck and Kristen's.
Look who decided he no longer wanted a binki and sticks his thumb in any time he can find it.
Jaren was a big hit at the sleepover. Gracy, Katie, Camrie, Becca, Emery, McKell, Marae, and Dawson.
Pretty girls all ready for church.  Emery, McKell, Becca, and Camrie. They all wore McKell's dresses so they could dress alike, and all had their hair done the same.  We are just missing Tayla.
Our last day together we went to see the new Ogden Temple.  It is beautiful inside and out.
The girls could not be separated.
 Dayton and Justin.
Some of the boys.  Justin, Kaden, Dayton, and Dawson.

Back To School

Summer flew by and the kids are back in school.  Surprisingly both kids were quite excited to go back.
Dayton starting 4th grade in Mrs. Berghout's class.  Most looking forward to recess and math.
Camrie starting 1st grade in Mrs. Roach's class. She is most excited to go to school all day, eat lunch in the cafeteria, and get 3 recesses every day.
Poor Taryn is stuck home with Mom all day and waits for the "kids" to get home to play with her.
This little guy decided to start sleeping though the night just a few days after school started.  Best student by far!

Jaren Pictures

A few updated pictures of Jaren.  He is getting too big too fast and a little chunky.
Jaren and Davis. Davis is a little bigger and has a little more hair, but he is only 2 weeks older so I am sure Jaren will catch up to his cousin and future best buddy.
 Looked who learned to smile.
He loves attention and as long as he is not hungry you can get him to smile.
He already loves his big brother.

Daddy/Daughter and Mother/Son Dates

Something Kyle and I have started doing with the kids is little more one on one time.  So a few weeks ago Kyle took Camrie out on a daddy/daughter date and the next week I took Dayton out for a mother/son night.
Kyle called Camrie while he was at work and asked her if she would like to go out on a date with him. She was so excited and ask me if she could wear make-up for her date.
When Kyle came to pick Camrie up she asked, "Will we be going out to dinner and then are we going dancing, or just dinner." They compromised with dinner at Zupas and shopping.  Camrie picked out 2 pairs of earrings, a necklace, and make-up.

The next week was Dayton's turn.  I asked him if he wanted some earrings too, but he chose dinner and a movie.  The movie he wanted was not playing so we went to his choice of Panda Express for dinner and then got him a new book bag and lunch box for school.
