Dayton Hits Double Digits

Dayton's birthday was on a Saturday this year so I had to take his school treat on Friday. Taryn, Jaren, and I took balloons and Twinkies for Dayton and his class.  He was called up to the front so everybody could sing to him.
Saturday morning we had a quick breakfast of birthday donuts before we were off to baseball.
Two candy bars were already eaten before I woke up. We had to tape them back on so I could get this picture.
He spent most his birthday on a baseball field.  But he was excited and did really well both hitting and fielding.
 First time playing left field.
After two games, which they won, we went out to celebrate at Buffalo Wild Wings.
They had a football cut out that the kids thought was so funny.
The whole restaurant gave Dayton a "Happy Birthday" shout-out and this cool crown.
His birthday treat.
I think Camrie liked it better than anybody.
She pretty much ate the whole piece of cake, (and it was a big piece).
Time for presents.
A new football, I hope this one last longer then the last one.
Lots of help opening gifts.
A cool new Frisbee.
He wanted this bright yellow sweatshirt so bad.  It is so bright he saw it through the bag when I bought it.  I do love when he wears it because I can always find him.
Thank you to the grandparents for all the money.  What Dayton wants more then anything is an X-BOX 360 but he has to earn the money, so that is what he asked for for his birthday.
Ice cream cake special for Dayton.  He requested chocolate and mint chip so that is what he got.
Can't believe our baby is 10.  He is so fun and outgoing and is friends with everyone. We so often think "where did he come from" but we would not have him any other way.  He is a great big brother and loves to play.  He has become quite the sports fan, both watching and playing. He is a great student and loves math.  He is growing like a weed and sometimes eats as much as Kyle.  He makes us laugh all the time and can still talk more then anyone we have ever met.  Happy Birthday Dayton. We love you more every year!
