Our excitement did not end with Christmas. The very next day we were packed up and headed to New York for two weeks for Jared and Katie's wedding.
All 7 of us packed up and ready to go.
It was no small task getting us all through security and onto the plane, but we did it.
After two flights, and a few delays we finally made it to grandma Jody's house in the pouring rain at about 2 am.
We did not waist any time seeing anyone. The next day, (Tuesday) we had a get together with Jay, Meghan, Ainsley, Jackson, Grayson, Jared, Katie, Grandpa & Grandma Carter.
Jared and Katie surprised the kids with gifts for them to play with.
Kyle played with Dayton's 3-D Star Wars book.
Grandma Carter loved to hold Ryder. In fact, she did not like to share him, but he loved it too.

Finally Grandpa got a turn with Ryder.
Grandma Jody knows this kid loves Mickey Mouse. So he loved his surprise hat and mittens.

Every chance they got they play this weird game. Dayton tried his hardest to learn it so he could play too. They let him play once but I think it was just so they could make him clean it up.
Jaren was his normal self and would not share any toys.
