Vegas Vacation

I wanted to do something special for Kyle's 40th birthday. So I surprised him with a mini trip to Vegas. It just so happened that his brother Jared and Katie were coming right after Christmas, so we decided to join them and have double the fun. We went to a couple shows, ate a lot, walked a ton, slept in and stayed up way too late. It was all so fun it was hard to leave. We stayed at the MGM where we saw Cirque du Soleil KA and David Copperfield. Both shows were good but we loved David Copperfield. We also loved walking through all the hotels and eating pizza at midnight in the New York New York casino.
Jared killing it at the poker tables.
A nice night out on the town.

Christmas Time

On the 23rd Kyle's family had the tradition of going to dinner with a family friend. We live too far to make it back for this special dinner, but we try to keep the tradition going. This year we invited some friends over for a turkey dinner and some Christmas fun. Kyle carved the turkey, we all stuffed our faces and then they spoiled all our kids with gifts. There is nothing better then traditions.
Christmas Morning.
We got 8 inches of snow on Christmas Eve. It was fun and beautiful, but a little hard for Jaren to ride his new 4 wheeler. It is not surprising that he plowed his way though it.
As always we went to the movies on Christmas day. After about 20 min of the movie Ryder was done and we spent over an hour in the lobby. When I came back in Jaren and Taryn were both asleep on Kyle. We still had fun and loved the popcorn and candy.
