Lagoon Season Opener

We had a rare Saturday off from baseball and were not sure what we were going to do with all our free time. Luckily Lagoon was open and we were excited to go and play. Especially me because this year I could actually ride some rides.
Dayton being a goof ball.
My first time on the white roller-coaster. One of the kids favorites.
Kyle took Jaren and Taryn to kiddy land while I rode some big rides with Dayton, Kane and Camrie.
Jaren and Taryn on some rides.
There was no way Kyle or I were riding this ride. It was a beautiful day, but way too cold to get wet.
This is one of our favorites because we can all ride it.

Ryder's First Hair Cut

When you are the 5th kid in your family things can get lost in the shuffle. At least this time I remembered to take pictures.
Waiting his turn and after the three older boys got their hair cut it was finally his turn.
He did a pretty good job of letting me cut it. I just trimmed the back a little and I'm pretty sure when I have to do all of it we are going to have a much harder time keeping him still.
All done and as cute as can be.

Camrie's Stiches

Camrie was born with this mole on her back. We have gotten it checked out several times and decided to get it removed. Back in November they scraped it off. It took more than a month to heal and by January it came back. So we went back and they removed it again, but this time they cut it out and stitched it up.
The before picture.
3 stitches inside and 8 on the outside. Poor Jaren thought Camrie had spiders on her back and would not go near her when I was cleaning and changing her bandage.
2 weeks later she got the stitches out. It is still a little bit sore, but hopefully gone for good.

Easter Sunday

I love how excited our kids get for holidays. It makes it fun for all of us waiting for the Easter Bunny and guessing what he is going to bring. This year we were spoiled once again.
Taryn also got a flip-a-zoo.
Even Dayton got toys, kind of. New batting gloves and a fidget spinner. The new thing all the kids want and all the parents don't understand.
Ryder was not too happy about us waking him up. He did not care what the bunny brought, he wanted to go back to bed.
Time to find the hidden eggs.
Dayton had to work a little to find all his.
It took a little while but even Ryder found his eggs.
Camrie was the first one done.
It was a wonderful family day.

Wedding and Easter

We had to leave California in a hurry so we could make it back for Wes and Ashley's wedding.
It was cold and rainy but somehow we got this picture just in time.
 The Bride and Groom.
Amy caught a rare moment of the babies and their moms.
I mostly sat around and talked to friends and family but cute Shad went and got the girls and they had a blast on the dance floor.
There was a room right off of the reception where there was a movie, toys and coloring for the kids. This is where they spent most their time.  Dayton and Justin were playing some game and Taryn and Jaren were taking turns drinking soda after soda.
The next day we all got together again for our annual Decker family Easter party.
 Lunch.
Easter crafts to keep them busy while the Dad's hide the eggs.
All the kids (that were in town) ready to find their eggs (except Jaren who was throwing a fit for some reason).
Here he is crying and yelling at me.
Camrie was probably the egg hunt champion. She found so many she had to re hide some for the other kids to find.
Dayton was a good sport to still find eggs.  I told him if he wanted candy he had to work for it.
After his tantrum he finally calmed down enough to join the fun and find some eggs.
It was a huge bonus when he realized there was candy inside.
 Trading candy.
It is so hard to get all 5 girls together, but here are 4 of them getting so big. Bekah, Emery, McKell and Camrie.
Justin was so sweet in helping Jaren find his eggs and then get the candy out.
Katie finally got to hold Ryder.
Thanks Papa and Nana for Easter goody bags.
The boys were playing a game and we got them to stop for a picture.
This was the craft from the party. They are perfect in our kitchen.
