Pumpkin Faces

It was finally time to carve our pumpkins. It is a bit of a process so we split it into two nights. We gut the pumpkins one night and then carve them the next. This gives us two nights of fun and messes. We let the kids do what they wanted. They cleaned them out, choose the face they wanted and did most the carving. Poor Ryder was left out because we really didn't want his help, so we just kept giving him cookies and he was happy to eat and hang out with us.
We make Dayton stand in the picture but he talked Camrie into cleaning his pumpkin.

We got 4 cookie sheets full of pumpkin seeds to munch on. Good work kids.

The best part of cleaning the pumpkins is playing with the guts, says these weird little girls.

It's carving time.

All that hard work paid off, 5 happy pumpkins.
Don't be fooled by Ryder in his diaper, it was freezing outside.
