Come and Gone

Kyle's Mom and her husband Mike came to visit us again. I can't believe how fast the two weeks went, it felt like they were only here a few days. There were lots of days it seemed we just sat around the house in our pj's, but we did get out a little. During the two weeks we...

• Went to Dayton's Soccer game
• Watched Kyle play 7 softball games
• Got doughnuts for breakfast
• Watched a handful of movies
• Got the flu (everybody but Kyle)
• Went to 2 of Kyles basketball games
• Jody and I went to Logan so Jody could finally meet my sister Kim and shop
• Went to Ross 3 times
• Played some UNO with Dayton
• Jody and I watched some chick flicks
• Grandma and Dayton fought over the T.V.
• Dayton went on walks with Grandma and Papa Mike
• Ate out at our favorite place Cafe Rio
• Watched a few Yankees games (every one that was on T.V.)
• Saw more NBA playoff games then I can remember
• Last we went miniature golfing the Friday before they left

Grandma Jody had a little Easter egg hunt for the kids. She brought candy and goodies and hid eggs for them to find. Some of the eggs even had money in them. It was a big hit with both Dayton and Camire. Camrie was much better at finding her eggs this time, she found all hers and then started finding Dayton's.

Grandma and Papa Mike got up with the kids pretty much every morning. One morning I came down and found Camrie sitting on Papa Mikes feet. Both kids were so excited they were here they would not leave them alone.

One evening were outside enjoying the nice weather and playing when little by little the neighbor kids all started coming out to play too. Before he knew it Kyle was making up different games to play with the kids and they loved it. Jody and I watched from the sidelines.

One day last week us girls all painted our nails. I even convinced Jody to paint her nails sparkly bright red as opposed to her normal pail pink. Camrie went with a hot pink and I went with a bright purple.

For months I have wanted to add a big long shelve in Camrie's room. So I talked Jody into helping me with the project, and what did we do but wait till the last minute, but we got it done and it looks great! Friday night before they left Saturday morning Jody helped me hang and decorate the shelve.

The last day they were here Kyle took off a little early and we all went golfing. It was a beautiful sunny day and we had the course to ourselves. The only thing missing was my hole-in-one to match Jody's, Mike's, and Kyle's.
