First Day Of School

I can't believe we are back to school.  Surprisingly the kids were ready and excited.
The night before school the kids get to go meet their teacher and find out who is in their class.
First day of 5th grade in Ms. Jorgensen class standing 5 feet tall.
First day of 2nd grade in Mrs. Rosskelley class standing 4 feet 3 inches tall.
They rode their bikes to school so this is all I have for pictures.  But they both like their teachers and had a great first day of school.
Taryn had to wait a week to meet her teacher Ms. Misty and see her classroom.
Here she is in her classroom with some papers and her first homework assignment.
Then a week after meeting her teacher she FINALLY got to go to school.
New outfit and new book bag all ready to go.
She did ask me what I was going to do while she was at school.  Then she remembered I still had Jaren, but then remembered that he was napping. "What are you going to do?" she asked, then she told me to go to my friends house so I won't be alone.
It is just down the street so she wanted to ride her bike.
She knew right where to go and was so ready I barley got a good-bye.
Taryn home from her first day of pre-school.  She gets home about 20 min before the others so this is her time to tell me all about her day with out anybody else talking.  Papers all over the floor is kinda her thing.  She loves school, and tells me that she has not gotten in trouble once.
Not to leave this little guy out, he did not have a first day of school, but he is now officially walking. He was not in any hurry to walk, nor did he want any help in trying.  All the sudden one day he started standing.  He would not walk, but would just stand there.  He had the best balance of any of my other kids at this age.  No matter the bribe he would not walk.  Then after about a week of just standing, he decided to walk.  (he was about 16 months old).
